Hello, I'm Shannon and love to crochet using a variety of unique stitches mixed with common crochet stitches. I crochet anything from baby blankets to baby clothes, to little girl clothes but prefer creating dresses. Growing up I have always been artistic. At the age of 9 years old, my step mom taught me how to crochet and I just fell in love with it. I went many years without crocheting and just recently got back into it and have been going crochet crazy. I have so many ideas running through my head about things I want to create but I can only crochet so fast and only have so much time in day.
I'm currently a stay at home mother to better help our son who has PDD-NOS and is non-verbal and save on baby sitting costs, so I have a little more time to crochet than I did before but I'm still busy working on my Bachelors degree in Human Services. I also have a wonderful fiance who I have been with for almost 8 1/2 years now. I use to work as a CNA and loved it. I enjoy helping those in need and the amazing feeling you get when someone tells you, that they will remember you because of how good you were to them and that you made a difference in their life. Although I still do my best to try to help people even as a stay at home mother.
There are 2 main reasons why I created this blog. The 1st is to sell my crocheted creations because, I can't keep everything I crochet. The 2nd reason is because, I really want to help one of the most amazingly giving and nicest person I have ever met. She is so sweet and runs an event every year and is known as the Pajama Grandma in Trempealeau County Wisconsin. She collects pajamas and money donations to buy pajamas throughout the year give to Trempealeau County to help those families in need. So, I'm not only using this blog to sell my crocheted creations but to help Diane Pischke as well. She has always been so nice to me and my family and is very well known in the county for the amazing person that she is.
